TWO cars managed to get upside down during this race weekend. Ron Eaton
flipped during practice, and Dirk Stephens flipped during the race.

Thats nothing new. There have been races where two cars flip in the same
race (2005 and 2009 Talladega fall races off the top of my head), heck
in the 2005 ARCA Daytona race two cars flipped in the same crash.

I was emphasizing that because this isn't a superspeedway where high
speeds are the norm, it's a half mile paved short track with rather low
banking.

J.R. Charbonneau finishes eighth to claim his best finish in a Northwest
Tour race. Charbonneau made only five starts in the series, all in 1985,
but had two top-10s. Bonus points for racing a Pontiac sponsored by an
AMC-Jeep dealer.
