Mike Bliss and his younger brother Pat Bliss race against each other in
NASCAR touring series action for the first and only time as the latter
makes his lone NASCAR Northwest Tour start. The pair drove twin Bliss
Trucking Pontiacs with Mike putting #98 on the pole and coming home with
a sixth-place finish. Pat had a tougher time in the #99 as he got lapped
early on and crashed out at the midway point. Up front Ron Eaton won his
second race in a row as he zoomed past Mike Bliss on the opening lap and
led flag-to-flag from there on out.

Dwight Estby's third and final NASCAR Northwest Tour start is basically
over before it begins with a transmission failure in the opening laps.
This was his only start of the season.
