Wilbur Bruce won the pole (4 car invert).

Gary Lewis apparently broke following the first restart of the race,
having already charged up into the top five from starting 13th. Lewis
was down on power over the last ~100 laps and discovered post-race that
he was down two cylinders during the remainder of the going. Not a bad
result with that considered!
