This was the first race at the infield oval, at just 3/8 of a mile, for
the Northwest series in 13 years.

First caution - 39 spun turn 3/4
Second caution - 28 spun backstretch (Red flag here because the 40
dropped oil on the entire 3/8th mile oval, causing the 28 to spin)
Third caution - 55 spun turn 4 (Red flag here to clean the speedy dry
used in the last caution off of the windshields of the cars! That's a
new one to me)
Fourth caution - 68 accident turn 4
Fifth caution - 33 spun turn 4

John Bender leads flag to flag to win from the pole as he claims his
first career Northwest Tour win. This was his first win at Evergreen but
he'd go on to win again on the big oval in 2005.

This was the Northwest Tour's last race on the infield oval.
