The only NASCAR race! and the last event of any kind, on the short-lived
Las Vegas Park Speedway. Opened in 1953, it was demolished just a few
years later. The site is now home to a Hilton hotel, the Las Vegas
Convention Center, and part of the Las Vegas Country Club.
