Ron Hornaday continues his late season charge as he conquers all comers in his Ford. The Oregon International Raceway would be a short-lived course as a flood of the Willamette River would destroy the track in 1966. There were no funds to fix it so it closed and was converted into a landfill a decade later. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
