The series wouldn't return to the track for more than three decades. 2. nascar_vd / racing-reference.info posted: 12.01.2017 - 12:11 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) P1971-16 Roseburg Here the driver standings after this race (Top20): 1) Ray Elder = 1048 points 2) Jack McCoy = 923 3) Jimmy Insolo = 868 4) Bob England = 786 5) Frank James = 728 6) John Soares, Jr. = 688 7) Hershel McGriff = 667 8) Dick Kranzler = 666 9) Bob Kauf = 570 10) Dick Bown = 565 11) Carl Joiner, Jr. = 558 12) Jerry Barnett = 497 13) Don Noel = 475 14) Ron Gautsche = 435 15) Johnny Steele = 385 16) Pete Torres = 342 17) Chuck Bown = 326 18) Kevin Terris = 323 19) Pat Fay = 309 20) Ivan Baldwin = 263 3. But I thought DNS were usually listed in their qualifying position...I mean, if he didn't start, he couldn't have finished 20th, either. 5. As far as a DNS not being able to finish, I don't have an answer for you. I know some DNS were technically WDs or in some cases even DNQs depending on the series. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
