Was there another race this SLOW? The next year's race was faster.

P1974-04
Note: rookie Mike Gibson ran in the top five until a tire let go on lap 71.
Note: one Red Flag after an accident between Bill Cheesbourg and Ernie
Stierly in the early laps of the race and NASCAR officials have not
stopped the clock, reason of the slow average.
