Bill Schmitt came into this race seventh in points but put his #73 Chevrolet in victory lane to vault into the points lead, he'd never surrender it for the rest of the season en route to his first series championship. Dennis Wilson has a great day as he starts in the top-5 and finishes runner-up in his #61 Chevrolet. This was Wilson's best career finish in Winston West action. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
