because of a flat tire.

Shouldn't Allison be listed as an AMC? Matador was the car not the make.

NASCAR and AMC always listed Matadors on the results like that. I'm not
sure why (promote the specific model?) but it's not anything in need of
adjustment.

Karting World Champion Lake Speed made his stock car debut in this race
and finished it on the track. After winning the world title in karts,
besting the future icon Ayrton Senna to do it, Speed and his family
opted to pursue a career in stock cars instead of taking a stab at open
wheel in pursuit of CART or a F1 ride. This was one of only two Winston
West outings for him but back east he became a staple in the NASCAR
Winston Cup series in the years that followed.
