Note: Jim Reich, who was unable to complete the last two NASCAR races
(n°10 and n°11) in a row because his broken left wrist was still
mending, is back at full strength now.

The West series races alongside the Cup series from out East with the
visiting racers dominating. Tim Richmond, making his final start for
J.D. Stacy's Cup team, wins the race just like he had back in June.

Terry Labonte crashed into a wall head on and was injured in this race.
