Right at the end of this race a crash saw Terry Labonte crash "through" a concrete wall at the same time three cars, including J.D. McDuffie, lost it at Turn 9. Tim Richmond dominated the race but slowed to avoid the crash allowing Darrell Waltrip to make the pass and go on to win. 2.
