Hershel McGriff's second win in a row

Also the first Winston West race at Portland Intenational Raceway, the
series would not return to it until 2009.

McGriff joked the Portland race was specific to his unexpected 2009
comeback, he came back to run at Portland again at the age of 81 because
he figured he was the "defending champion" because of this race.
