A good day to be a Bill. Sedgwick, Elliott, and Schmitt led a combined
411 of 500 laps. 500 laps at Evergreen?! Yikes!

Chuck Welch was Jack Seller's crew chief at the time but he still found
the time to start-and-park another of the team's three cars before
coming to the pits. Sellers said they were doing it to 'keep him out of
trouble.'

How the hell did Jack Sellers manage to get both Coke and Dad's Root
Beer sponsorship? Aren't they rival companies?

I'm pretty certain one of the radio networks did a live broadcast of
this race. I can remember listening to hear the progress of Elliott. I
believe Mark Garrow was the lead announcer, so it was probably PRN.

@3 he was the main distributor for Coke and Dad's in Central California
IIRC.
