Good Lord, a 5 hour Winston West race on a short track in the middle of
July. Why exactly would people want to go to this?

At least it's in Washington State and not Southern California.

Even still, they must have been burning up in their cars. I guess you
could say the inside of their cars were...hotter than the sun in the
middle of July.

Dollar Bill" earns a cool $1,500 in prize money.

If you divide the total race length (323.0 miles) by the race's average
speed (68.356 miles per hour), you get 4.7 hours, which comes out to
approximately 4 hours and 45 minutes. I'm not sure where that extra 30
minutes or so comes from, but the math at least makes some sense.

Well, there were 14 cautions, so if they spend just 2 minutes under each
caution, that still equates to 28 minutes, so it's a safe bet that it
was because of all those cautions.
