RaceFanX posted: 05.27.2009 - 12:57 am Rate this comment: (1) (0) Confirming what someone sais earlier, NASCAR did make the original Brickyard 400 count for Winston West points. Also as said earlier, this was likely just to get the number of entries up with points awarded for the attempt. Of the West drivers, only eventually 1994 Champion Mike Chase actually made the race. Of the other West drivers, only Robert Sprague made a noticable impact, he crashed during qualifing. 2.
