I've heard something about Austin Cameron flipping the car in this race.
Any evidence for or against?

Yep, found some documentation. Austin Cameron was racing for the lead
when contact was made and his car went into the inside Jersey barrier,
sending it up and over once. He was unhurt and even joking about it
afterwards.
