West series graduate David Gilliland returns for a one-off and wins. The
victory was his first in the series since 2005.

P.J. Jones makes his first Winston West start since 1994 and finishes
second.

Road course ace Boris Said's third here was his best in the West series.

Regan Smith, mainly a Busch driver at the time, makes his only West start.

If Said wasn't penalized at this race in 2006, second would be his best
west series finish
