Greg Pursley gets his first career win nearly twenty years after making
his first career start, which he made at the age of 13.

On the last lap, Holmes moved David out of the way, and Pursley stuck
his nose in there three wide. Pursley made contact, sent Holmes into
David, spun David, Holmes kept going and finished third, as Burbank,
CA's Greg Pursley takes the win. I remember watching him win the 2007
Super Late Model portion of the Toyota All Star Showdown, beating Rip
Michels, the best driver in the history of Irwindale Speedway.

Pursley's first start was in 1999 and he was 31 at the time.

This would be the last-ever K&N West race at Thunder Hill Raceway. The
coming years saw this track renamed Central Texas Speedway but close
after 2016 and plowed under into the history books the following year
amid concerns over liability by its property owner. A tornado that
damaged some of the property before that likely didn't help either.
