What happened with Paulie? Noticed by the results that he wasn't in the
race.

Pastrana crashes out of a top 10 finish right at the end of the race.
Mayhew runs with the leaders all day but pits for tires with less than
20 to go. For the first West race in ages, NASCAR decided to not release
the purse totals awarded per driver. Eric Holmes starts at the rear with
an engine change and comes to the front, before fading due to pit strategy.

Greg Pursley gets his 4th career West Series win, becoming the 1st
driver to win back-to-back West Series races at Phoenix since they
canned the West/Cup combination races starting in 1998.

It's Pursley's 3rd win in his last 4 starts dating back to last season.

Jonathon Gomez ties his best finish with his 2nd career runner-up
finish, his 4th top five and 10th top ten in 21 West Series starts.

Toyota All Star Showdown polesitter Derek Thorn finishes a career-best
3rd in the K&N Pro Series; 1st West start but has 6 East starts.

Ty Dillon gets his 4th top five in 13 K&N Pro Series starts.

Brett Thompson made his 100th career West Series start (1 win back in
2004, 21 top fives, 57 top tens).

Andrew Rangers gets his 4th top ten in 8 career K&N Pro Series oval starts.

2010 Canadian Tire Series champion DJ Kennington finishes 10th in his
West Series debut (46 career Nationwide starts). He was driving the #12
that Paulie Harraka normally drives.
