I guess it's safe to say that Pursley had by far his worst finish on the
year.

As a whole though, the Gene Price teams had an awful race looking at the
results as both cars blew an engine.

Good run for Derek Thorn in his first ever road race. Thorn ran the SRL
race at Rocky Mountain Raceways in Utah the night before finishing third
in that event as well.

83 year old Hershel McGriff on the lead lap in 14th?!

Hershel's had 7 starts since 2009, all on road courses and all top 20
finishes with 4 being on the lead lap.

Luis Martinez Jr. gets his first career K&N Pro West Series win in his
23rd start, just his 4th career top 5. He also started from his 2nd
career pole, his first being on the 3/8th's Colorado National Speedway
last season where he finished 3rd, his previous career high.

Greg Pursley's first finish outside of the top 4 this season, 26th
although he led the most laps, has slashed his point lead to a measly
233 points. Looking pretty shaky now. lol

Epic finish! David Mayhew bumped his way past Luis Martinez Jr. on the
final lap! I thought that was epic enough, but then he spun on the final
corner and Martinez took the win!

Mike Hogewood and Phil Parsons were the commentators. Paul Bartholomew
was the sole pit road reporter.
