I honestly don't mind Waltrip running few West races from time to time.
I'm sure it helped Montana Raceway Park sell tickets knowing a 2 time
Daytona 500 champ would be in the field.

Yeah but if you hate Michael Waltrip you get to sit with the cool kids

16 y/o rookie Dylan Kwasniewski picked up his 2nd career, and 2nd
straight, K&N Pro West Series win. He joins teammate Greg Pursley as the
only multiple-time winners this season, and if he'd run every race this
season he would be 2nd in points to Pursley (currently 7th).

Canadian Cameron Hayley finishes 2nd in his K&N Pro West Series debut.

After having no top 5's in the first 5 races of the season, defending
series champion Eric Holmes has rattled off 6 straight top 5 finishes.
But he hasn't led a lap in that stretch

Greg Pursley earned his 5th pole of the season and 10th of his career,
but ended up with a 4th place finish for his 10th top 5 in 11 races in 2011.

Michael Self got his 3rd top 5 of the season but just his 3rd top 10 in
the last 6 races.

Michael Waltrip made just his 5th career West Series start since 1996,
getting his 4th top 10.

Mike Hogewood and Phil Parsons were the commentators. Bernadette
Sanicola was the sole pit road reporter.
