Austin Dyne finishes third to claim his first-ever top-5 in the K&N West series. The last driver other than Pursley to win at Miller was road racer Patrick Long in 2009. Long planned to return to the West series for the first time since 2010 in this race but DNQed. Fun race name, its far too rare an occurance that the name "Grand Prix" gets attached to NASCAR-sanctioned events. 2. Fantastic job made by Eric Holmes after a pass trough penalty for a mistake in the refueling. A great race on road track. Vote for Miller Motorsports Park for 2013 Sprint Cup schedule in the Chase !!! 3. Long could have had his car disabled someway in practice with no backup, I'm not sure how he missed the field. 6. 10andJoe posted: 04.29.2012 - 3:44 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) >why didn't they let patrick long race!? would it have been a huge deal to have 28 cars start instead of 27!? If the entry blank said "starting field: 27 cars"? Yes, yes it would have. 7.
