Finally Michael Self won a K&N West race. Good to see Goldent Gate
Racing on Victory Lane.
Poor starting grid with only 19 cars. Where is Cassie Gannis and the
others cars of GSR ?? No Scott Ivie, no Robert Torrière car, no Brian
Wong and ... no Hershel McGriff !

Michael Self's first West series win comes in his 34th start, he passed
the dominant Dylan Kwasniewski in the closing laps to win.

The track page for Brainerd doesn't seem to be working.

This was the first West race ever at the Minnesota road course.

Also the first race of series currently on RR at the track wince a Champ
Car race in 1969.

I think the lack of team may have to do with the fact that most teams
are based in California, and Minnesota is a bit of a trip from Cali.
