Although Michael Self only finished 9th overall in the K&N Pro East/West
combination race, it topped all West Series to give him 2nd career West
Series win, both coming this season, and 3rd straight top 5 and 4th
straight top 10.

16 year old Canadian Cameron Hayley gets his 2nd career runner-up finish
and 4th top 3 finish in 15 career West Series starts (including the last
two races in a row).

Eric Holmes finishes 18th overall but 3rd best among West drivers for
his 4th top 3 finish of the season.

David Mayhew remains one of 3 drivers with top 10's in all 11 races this
season. But after 1 win and 3 top 3 finishes in the first 4 races,
Mayhew hasn't finished better than 4th in the last 7 and has only led 60
laps this year.

Points leader Greg Pursley finished 5th in class to join Mayhew as two
of the three drivers with 11 top 10's in 11 races. It's his 8th top 5 in
the last 9 races.

Ryan Philpott's 3 top 10's this season have all come within the last 5
races. It's his 7th top 10 in 28 career starts.

After no top 10's in the first 3 races of the season, Jonathan Gomez has
7 in the last 8.

58-year-old Carl Harr gets his 4th top 10 in 9 West Series starts this
season, and 14th in 57 career starts dating back to 2001.

Dylan Kwasniewski joins Mayhew and Pursley as the 3 drivers with top
10's in all 11 races this season. But after starting the year with 8
straight top 4 finishes, he hasn't finished better than 5th in the last
4 and has now dropped to 7 points back of the points lead in 2nd.

The owner of No. 14 was Bob Wood (who fielded No. 14 full-time in the
West Series that year)..so Miller was a West entry..and the car was a Ford

Ray Dunlap and Phil Parsons were the commentators. Derek Pernesiglio was
the sole pit road reporter.
