John Wood's trip to this race was a rough one as a tire overheated on
his hauler and caught on fire, which spread to the trailer itself. Both
of his cars suffered damage, one of them had extensive damage.

What a wild finish. The lineup for a restart with 6 laps remaining at
Evergreen Speedway was Eric Holmes, Derek Thorn, Greg Pursley, Giles
Thornton, and Dylan Lupton. Holmes and Thorn crashed in turn 1 and
Thornton plowed into them with nowhere to go. Pursley got through but
officials determined that when slowing to avoid the accident in front of
him, he lost 2 spots before the caution was displayed and was placed in
P3 for the restart with Lupton in P1 after driving through the incident.
Lupton held off a last lap charge by Pursley to record his first career win.

I've seen races where the first and second place drivers crashed on a
restart but I've never seen one where 1st, 2nd, and 4th crash and the
5th place driver became the leader.

Career best finish of 5th for former CASCAR driver Carl Harr. So far he
is having a career best season. Unlike other years the nearly 60 year
old driver seems to be outrunning his son who also is his teammate.

Dave #38 Fan-Go Gilliland! -- Kyle Petty won his first ever Winston Cup
race at Richmond in 1986 by missing a crash in front of him that
collected the leaders. Dale Earnhardt hooked Darrell Waltrip into the
wall, and Geoff Bodine and Joe Ruttman were collected, and Petty, who
was running fifth at the time, won.

outside the top-10. It was his only start of the 2013 season.

Note: Jack Sellers was relieved by Thomas Martin (her crew chief) in lap
77. By Hutchison it's the previous race at Iowa.
