According to NSSN Gray turned Cole in the final corner after Cole got
loose.

Derek Thorn doesn't finish very highly, due in part to all the outside
series racers, but his 15th combined with Greg Pursley's 14th was still
good enough to lock up the 2013 K&N West championship. Pursley's finish
outside the top-10 alongside Cameron Hayley's third meant that Hayley's
was able to leap frog his teammate in the runner-up spot for the season.

These races dropped to 50 laps because, IIRC, the older longer races
took too long due to a high number of incidents (young drivers + Cup
teams present to impress= lots of wild moves).

Cameron Hayley's 15 top 10 of 15 during the season. But only one
victory... a serious contender for next year championship.

Curiously a bad race at Phoenix for the "Phoenix Master" Greg Pursley...
precisely when it's not needed ...

Congratulation to Derek Thorn, crew chief Bill Sedgwick (and all the
crew team) and owner Bob Bruncati.

Cool to see Dylan Kwasnieswki with his former team looking the race of
Greg and Cameron with owner Gene price and his former crew chief Jeff
Jefferson.

Gray Gaulding made a love tape over Cole Custer and won the race. "Roots
racing ?" He won the race on the last turn... For info he lost the UNOH
Battle on the last turn early in the season !

Gray Gaulding's first win in any NASCAR series, he ran regularly in the
East series in 2013 but scores his first win running in the West.

After watching the video on Fox Sports 2. Gray COMPLETELY dumped Cole
Custer just to wreck him to get the win. From this point forward I'm
done defending him for wrecking the leader

Just saw the video, sure looked like Gaulding dove into the final turn
extra-deep and just dumped Custer.

Derek Thorn needed to finish 11th or better to lock up the title and
didn't...but still finished high enough to beat Greg Pursley, Cameron
Hayley, and Michael Self to leave with the title.
