Nice to see NASCAR name the race in honor of the late Bill Schmitt,
which is something they rarely do.

Note: Bill McAnally first race in career as driver in K&N West was at
Shasta in 1992. And for the return of the series on this track, Chris
Eglleston, driver Bill McAnally's team, which wins!

It's good to see guys like Steve Portenga, Jeff Jefferson, and John
Krebs still having a presence in the West Series as owners now.

I think Krebs is the owner of the #11 in name only - that's a team car
to the #5 and the #15, and I'm pretty sure Jack Sellers actually runs
the operation there.
