WHAT A FINISH! Oregon young gun Gracin Raz grabs his first NASCAR K&N
West victory with a last lap pass on Alex Schutte.

14-year-old Harrison Burton makes his first start in any higher level
NASCAR series and just misses a top-10 finish.

Note: 15 years and 8 days for Harrison Burton. A new record, previous in
West = 15 years and 23 days by Cameron Hayley. And for a K&N Series, the
previous record = 15 years and 11 days by Jesse Little (East)

Note: drivers with the new car body (8 cars) = #9, 12, 14, 17, 30, 38,

Eddie Cheever III first start in West is the first italian in this
series since Davide Amaduzzi (Sonoma 2013).

Raz put the bumper to Schutte in turn 4 on the last lap just enough to
send him up the track a little. The two black Chevys came out of the
corner side by side with Raz winning the final drag race to the line. he
only led one lap despite winning the pole but made it count.

Noah Gragson was leading the points late in the race until he spun in
the closing laps while running second, setting up the wild finish. The
spin dropped Gragson down the running order and gave Chris Eggleston.
Ironically Gragson's spin occured after contact with Eggleston although
it didn't look like he did it deliberately and he quickly apologized
after the race, it looked like Gragson checked up too much for a corner
and got rear ended for it.

Gragson's #7 Ford was missing a fender for much of this race after he
clipped and spun James Bickford trying to dodge the spun #84 of Rich
DeLong III.

Is that the first time a pole sitters only lap led was the last one? I
mean its the only one that's important but just curious

Blaine Perkins, then 15, makes his K&N West debut and his only start of
2015. While this has remained Eddie Cheever III's lone start in the
series to date Perkins became a series regular in 2016.
