Todd Gilliland, 15, makes his K&N West debut and wins it!

Chris Eggleston finishes outside the top-10 but still wins the West
series championship in a four-way final race battle over Noah Gragson,
Gracin Raz, and Ryan Partridge. The four drivers all came into this race
within 12 points of each other. Raz, the winner last time out at
All-American Speedway, saw his title shot end with a blown motor late.
Eggleston came in with the points lead and finished 11th in front of
Gragson and Partridge to wrap up his first NASCAR title.

2014 K&N West series champion Greg Pursley came out of retirement to run
this race, making his only start of 2015.

2015 K&N East series champion William Byron crosses over for his second
West start of the season and finishes runner-up to Gilliland.

Todd Gilliand stuns everyone with a victory during a wild shootout
triggered when JJ Haley, who dominated the race, crashes. Chris
Eggleston takes the championship, finishing ahead of his points rivals.

Ben Kennedy makes a start in the West series, but crashes out. Landon
Cassill also makes a run, finishing fifth, and 2014 champ Greg Pursley
finishes 15th in his only start of the year.

Can't wait to see this race's broadcast.

@4 - Kyle Busch didn't own the car. They prepped the car but it was
owned by Bill McAnally and entered by BMR.

Impressive 6th place performance by Harrison Burton. It's his first
career K&N West Series top 10 in only his second career start.

Also, I always enjoying seeing D.J. Kennington coming down to run a few
K&N races.

In regards to Gilliland's car, it was a KBM chassis. In fact, it was
KBM's debut with a K&N chassis and it won in its first start.

Didn't realize K&N dropped Phoenix off the schedule, been thinking about
going to Phoenix next month, was somewhat excited to see these cars
again. If anything I think K&N could really benefit from a companion
event at the LVMS Bullring, Phoenix.

Thanks to friskynixon on YouTube for showing us the sad move Gragson
tried to make on Eggleston to dump him for the title. What a POS
Gragston is.
