GW Gilliland. 2. nascar_vd / racing-reference.info posted: 03.24.2017 - 11:44 am Rate this comment: (1) (0) Congratulations to Todd Gilliland, Chris Lawson and the entire BMR team for this great win. Very good return of Michael Self in the Brucanti #9. No chance for Julia Landauer, running second before the accident with a lapper. Another good top10 for Kody Banderas, impressive on the #32. 3. The team is Patriot Motorsport Group. 6. He says that he didn't fail a test, but it's just a messy situation of timing. 7. Todd Gilliland is way too good for this series as well. The rule on restricting the younger kids from being in top series is really hurting him a ton. He should be in a Truck level series already. 8. The fact of the matter is, both Behar and Landauer have performed well in the first two races. Laundauer was as high as second before the incident with the #10. Behar has 2 top 10s to start the year, and Landauer has finished 12th in both. You're the only one believing any of what you say, while the rest of us are enjoying the racing. 9. Danica10Racer posted: 03.24.2017 - 9:52 pm Rate this comment: (1) (1) Landaeur did not do well the first race, stop lying to yourself. I wanted to see Julia leading laps this year. Competing against a future top flight driver in Gilliland and not running between 3rd and 6th like she did for most of last year. She's got the best team equipment (if not then 2nd best team) in the garage. Behar is doing exactly what she did two years ago and will end up like Ruston and every other "12 top 10's, 2 top 5 drivers" and out of NASCAR all together. 10. nascar_vd / racing-reference.info posted: 03.25.2017 - 1:04 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Note: New Body Style = (20 cars) #6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 17, 19, 21, 27, 30, 32, 33, 36, 38, 40, 61, 99 Old Body Style = (3 cars) #5, 18, 84 11. Seibaru posted: 03.25.2017 - 3:22 pm Rate this comment: (0) (1) @9 Oh I'm sorry, did you not recognize her number with the slow car of Matt Levin? She was running second before Levin and Landauer made contact. We'll see in the broadcast in a couple days' time what happened, keep your comments in your pocket until then. And before you question why we can insult Danica immediately and I'm telling you to wait on insulting Landauer, it's because these races are tape delayed. 13. Danica10Racer posted: 03.25.2017 - 3:35 pm Rate this comment: (1) (1) @12 I have a question for you. How many laps have Julia Landauer and Nicole Behar led in K@N West competition? How does that translate to the next level when everybody thinks these two are surefire locks to make it (specifically Julia)? @11 My bad. I try to spell people's names correctly. I typed up that reply quick and didn't proofread it. 14. Seibaru posted: 03.25.2017 - 4:16 pm Rate this comment: (2) (2) @13 None. Your point is? She's a frontrunner. The difference between us is that I feel Julia deserves a chance of showing what she's got in a higher series, and you believe she's destined to crash and burn and isn't worth the risk, probably because she's a woman unlike Danica (who is a goddess according to you). Team owners who never risk everything with new drivers are destined to fail. Will she prove her worth and get a ride, or will she fail? That's completely up to her, but her results show she's worth a shot. 15. Damon posted: 03.25.2017 - 7:08 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Doubleheader tonight at Irwindale, Julia was second both practices, the D10R reverse jinx on the line again tonight if Julia wins on the heels of Newman winning last week lol. 16. Danica10Racer posted: 03.25.2017 - 10:33 pm Rate this comment: (0) (1) Nah it's not trolling at all. If I have the reverse jinx then I'll start picking drivers that everyone wants to win. I'll also pick Jimmie to never win the 8th championship and Alex Bowman to have a full time Cup ride for the next 30 years. 18. Danica10Racer posted: 03.26.2017 - 7:15 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) No reverse jinx. Julia finished 10th. Todd won, Eggleston 2nd, Behar 4th. 19. She had her qualifying time disallowed and had to start shotgun on the field as a result but rallied back for a solid seventh-place finish. 22. RaceFanX posted: 03.28.2017 - 7:32 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Michael Self returns to the K&N West series for the first time since the end of the 2013 season and promptly leads most of the first half of the race on the way to a sixth-place run. Self started 2017 planning to spend the year coaching young Riley Herbst and doing a number of ARCA races but got an offer to take over Bob Bruncati's potent #9 Ford for a full-season campaign after a paperwork processing issue sidelined renewing a NASCAR license zonked Ryan Partridge out of competition. Self's NASCAR license had also lapsed, he was only planning on running ARCA, so Zane Smith got a one-off in the opener before Michael got back behind the wheel here. Herbst ran the opener but had to miss this race due to some ARCA testing commitments. 23. RaceFanX posted: 03.28.2017 - 7:58 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Todd Gilliland held off his McAnally teammmate Derek Kraus for the win. A late restart saw Gilliland pull ahead before a yellow come out on the last lap when Salvatore Iovino spun, for the second time in this race, and stalled out in Turn 3 in front of the leaders. Defending series champion Gilliland took the points lead with this win. Matt Levin ran as high as second behind Self before fading out of contention. 24.
