Only a 6-point lead now over Eggleston, who won the race...this could get interesting. 4. Racetowin posted: 08.13.2017 - 10:39 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) I meant he finished really far back. He usually finishes 1st or 2nd. 5. Congrats Chris Eggleston ! A flat tire in the end for Todd Gilliland. Great run by Nicole Behar. Impressive first career race for Tayler Riddle 7. yellowcat53 posted: 08.14.2017 - 9:47 pm Rate this comment: (3) (0) I was at this race, and a few things I want to point out: Behar actually had nose damage from the lap 34 caution that her team had to tape up. Gilliland blew a tire at some point during the 2nd half and came down pit road briefly to fix it, he was falling back from 2nd or 3rd after the halfway point to 8th or 9th by the tim he blew it. The Riddle spin happened because he, the 19, and the 7 caught the 40 and the 13 as they went 2 wide and bottled them up. 8. nascar_vd / Racing-Reference.info posted: 08.16.2017 - 5:16 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) Note/update: NASCAR revised the finish order. Todd Gilliland dropped to 12th (from 9) with 152 laps and Kody Vanderwal dropped to 14th (from 13) with 150 laps. 9. 48johnsonfan posted: 08.17.2017 - 4:03 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) Currently watching this race, which aired earlier, but I recorded it on our DVR, and with people saying how Gilliland really struggling in this race, and with the flat tire at lap 123, it really killed him with the points lead he had coming into this race. Still have four races left after this race, so he can rebound and gain more points from his teammate. As they always say, everything changes in one race. This is just another example of it. 10.
