I agree, not great for the series at all. But NASCAR as a whole is struggling because they're losing fans left and right, so it makes sense that the developmental series would be hit first/hardest. 7. Any major changes or realignment there will also impact the East and West series either directly or indirectly. 8. I think they leave the West series as is considering the cost. The majority of the race schedule will split between what the east series run and what ARCA runs just a prediction i think will happen. 11. West may end up looking more like the good old days if the focus on development shifts to East/ARCA, which it likely will. West has some good days ahead, I think. This is just a period it is going through. What is there right now is solid. 12. I highly doubt there will be any K&N Series or ARCA (or probably even trucks) within the next 10 years. NASCAR's going to have to consolidate these series sooner or later, especially once their lucrative TV deal runs out. 13. Ten years from now there will be a version of NASCAR that includes a minor league/developmental series like East/West/ARCA/Truck. A small scale one to be sure. But then NASCAR will be much smaller. I see the sport continuing on for another twenty-five years, ever decreasing, but continuing on. 14.
