Starting at 9:30 (local time) isn't really a solution - you kill your potential TV audience, and you kill off your local attendance, since families with kids aren't going to an event that starts late and ends after midnight. And, I looked at Fox's schedules. It seems the main reason for the late start is to put it after the US v Trinidad soccer match. 39. Including multiple champions in the top 3 series. I'm thinking of certain drivers from dirt backgrounds here who need to race cleaner as in keeping the car out of the fence and not over driving themselves out of wins. But in the way you meant it, there are a lot of young drivers, especially in K&N and ARCA, who race like they're in video games, and why not, when many of them have never had to build or pay for their own equipment so it's not their problem what happens to it. 85. But you're not likely to see a change - ever since Helton and Brian France took over NASCAR's theme has been "we're in charge", and nit-picky rules and penny-ante penalties is how they show it. It's ingrained into the culture of those running the show now. @80 - it appeared to me that Deegan is not good on restarts, thus every restart she'd loose positions, and slowly gain them back over the next few laps of green flag racing (or get them all back at once with the late-race yellows). Learning how to handle restarts is a skill drivers learn, which she may in time acquire. 87. rm posted: 06.23.2019 - 6:55 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) At 17.64 miles of overtime added with the green-white-checkered attempts, could this be the most extra mileage ever ran at a K&N West race?
