Mike Laughlin, Jr. makes his USAR debut and finishes 3rd. This was his
first major stock car race after he was badly burned in an accident
during a qualifying race for the Busch race in Homestead the previous year.

Also the first USAR ProCup race at the Milwaukee Mile, they wouldn't
return until 2008.
