* Twelve drivers did not make the starting field at Hickory Motor
Speedway. Among the drivers who failed to qualify were: Jimmy McClain,
Don Satterfield, John Kinder, Jabe Jones, Chris Diamond, Jay Fogleman,
Karen Schulz, Joe Harrison, Jr., Mickey Hudspeth, Tim Clayton, Burt
Ingle, and Chris Everette.
