Floridian racer David L. Pletcher only ran five USAR Pro Cup events in
2001 but this outing saw him take control of the race after Jeff Agnew
crashed out en route to his only victory in the series. His lone win
came in the series' second and final visit to New York's Chemung Speedrome.
