This race was infamous for being a complete wreckfest. Every car had
considerable damage. Hal Goodson drove a nearly destroyed car to the win.

Canadian racer John Gaunt comes home third two laps behind to claim his
lone USAR ProCup top-5. It was also Gaunt's eighth and final top-10 in
the series.

A brief highlight shown at the beginning of the next Northern Division
telecast from Salem showed at least 16 cars were involved in the big
crash here.
