Mike Herman, Mart Nesbitt and Joey Logano got together and crashed on the back straightaway. Rogers pulled away for good on the ensuing green-white-checkered but the real action happened behind him. Jeff Fultz aggressively drove alongside Benny Gordon on the cooldown lap and the pair made contact going into the pits. Gordon eventually hopped out of his car to go talk to Fultz and was greeted by a pair of Fultz's crew instead. Words were exchanged and a fistfight between Gordon and a much larger #54 crewman ensued. Gordon, despite being outnumbered and undersized, managed to throw down the anonymous crew member before it was broken up by officials. In a post-race interview, Fultz said he was upset with Gordon turning him earlier in the race. Unfortunately for Gordon, he wasn't the target Fultz was looking for - Fultz had been spun around by Shelby Howard instead. 2.
