Gordon Regained His Lap & Later Passed Kale But Again Pitted During The Next Caution To Change Tires, Only To Have To Repit For Missing Lugnut, Again Losing The Lap He'd Regained Gary St Amant Led His Portion Staying Out After Everyone Else Had Pitted; St Amant's Team Tried An Alternate Pit Strategy Since They Didn't Feel They Could Make The Positions On Pit Road Alone, But They Didn't Catch The Break They Needed & Finally Pitted L147, Restarting Outside The T15 w/ 100TG. Brett Butler Led 45 Of The 1st x70 Laps, & Was On The Same Pit Strategy As St Amant, But As Listed, A Mechanical Issue Sidelined Butler's Day On L107. Agnew Was Running Away Once He Took The Lead, & In An 8yo Car That Only Had Some Shocks Added To It (Plus Some Minor Tweaks - Guess They Weren't So Minor After All); Agnew Turned In His Fastest Lap Of The Race On L196, Nearly x2 Seconds Faster Than His Qualifying Speed "Keep Your Head Up, You Had Us Beat" - Gary St Amant, Post-Race, @Agnew Joe Harrison Won The Aaron's "Do The Math" Hard Charger Award For This One, Picking Up A Cool $500 Bonus Future Inheritor Of NASCAR's "Mikey" Mantle, Mikey Kile Won The Miller Lite ROTR Award For His 9th & Collected A $1,000 Bonus For The Effort - This Race Gave Kile A 105 Point Lead For The Northern Division's $10,000 ROTY Prize, Over Kevin Cywinski's Matt Murrell Kale Led Laps 110-150 & The Penultimate Lap; Agnew Led Laps 151-249 http://www.speed51archives.com/2008_Stories/Pro_Cup/Mansfield_Recap_6_08.html ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
