Lucas Ransone returns to the USAR/CARS series for the first time since
2010 and claims his first pole before converting it into his second win
in the series with a last lap pass.

Ransone's previous victory came at Lanier back in 2009 and he also won
that race with a last lap pass.

Alan Purkhiser won his first USAR/CARS race last time out and comes
within one lap of going back-to-back here.

at least the car count is going in the right direction. actually sounds
like it was a pretty good race from the reports i've seen.

Only way this series gets more cars is to increase the payout. Last
place guy blew a motor after 197 laps, Had to buy tires and gas for the
race car and then get the car and team to the track and only made 650
bucks. Probly cost him 3 grand for the trip. Hard to run a lot at that rate.
