At most tracks of a half mile and under the pace car paces the field at 25-35 mph. So 18-22 minutes...my bad. Still that is way too long for a fan to have to sit through a caution period. 9. Rexrobe posted: 10.01.2013 - 11:43 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Just speaking from personal experience, most short track groups like USAR, er, CARS, PASS, UARA use higher pace car speeds than NASCAR series like K&N. I have no idea why that is or if it would actually make a notable difference, that's just what I have always seen. At one time the PASS Super Late Model series also used flag men at each corner, even when the track had a light system. 11.
