Then you have a meth head racing with you ... Great job... 5. RaceFanX posted: 07.15.2014 - 12:44 pm Rate this comment: (6) (0) ProCup returns to Tri-County Motor Speedway after a one-year absence. This is former Winston Cup standout Jeremy Mayfield's first USAR ProCup start and his first major race in any series since his early 2009 NASCAR suspension. I say welcome back, I hope his issues are behind him, and here's hoping his comeback goes well. 6. And good question #4 idk how this series can still run with only 10 cars. 8. Yeah it was clearly a conspiracy between Brian France and Kentucky police to ruin his life for no reason whatsoever, I'm sure he's innocent. If he was guilty he'd definitely say so, right? 11. I would argue that series, in terms of attendance, car count, and purse, is higher-level than USAR is these days (sadly). 14. 23andJoe posted: 07.16.2014 - 12:47 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) >With small fields AND free tickets And, from some reports, charging $15 to park for those "free tickets" races. 15. They used to sponsor Morgan Shepherd's Busch efforts. 16. rob posted: 07.16.2014 - 11:07 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) The tickets are free. You can load as many people as you want in a vehicle to park for 20 bucks. Not a bad deal for say six people to get in the race for a little over three bucks each. Last year at Orange County we had a huge crowd for this series and expect the same again on July 26. 17. I believe it is referring to "Jeremy 2", or the "new and improved" Jeremy Mayfield that has began rebuilding his racing career. Brian Keselowski was up to second and closing on leader J.P. Morgan when he was spun out by 3rd place Reid Wilson. He started at the rear and wasn't able to get up to Wilson's back bumper before the race was over or Reid would have been in the wall judging by Keselowski's radio chatter. Oddly Wilson was not penalized for the incident (I imagine series officials were reluctant to park a car in a race with 10 cars to start with and only 6 running at the time, but imo Wilson should have at least been held in the pits for 2-3 laps and Keselowski should have gotten his spot back). With car counts so low, I wish somebody could get some money together and merge Pro cup, ARCA CRA Late models, and the Southern Super Series and get a late model series similiar to the old ASA series started with some decent car counts. 21. slowbird posted: 07.17.2014 - 9:26 pm Rate this comment: (3) (0) I wish I had some money to run a car in this series. I'm pretty sure I could get a top-10 finish! (Plus I'd get my name in the Racing Reference database, which would be pretty cool) 22. 23andJoe posted: 07.18.2014 - 2:12 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Jeremy Mayfield's car was #J2. 23. rob posted: 07.19.2014 - 11:03 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Last year's race at Orange County was run with 13 entries and was very interesting. A gentleman who followed the series told me that the racing was very good in nearly all the events he had covered. The upcoming race at OCS will be held on July 26 and contested for 200 laps. 24. rob posted: 07.28.2014 - 11:41 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Posting a little early, but the race at Orange County was a good one and once again a big crowd was on hand. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
