29 cars! Wow! What a comeback for the series.
Question: Did they merge with another series, switch car types,
something else, or a combo?

They actually had 61 cars.

Rather than using the old pro-cup spec cars, which are now outdated and
led to the low fields this series has had the last few years, the series
now has a two event race day format.

There is a 150 lap late model stock race, which uses the same spec cars
that the Whelen All-American series uses

Following the late model stock race there is a 150 lap super late model
race, using the kind of cars used by series like the Southern Super
Series, and the ARCA CRA series.

It's made a world of difference as last year this year had a race with
just 4 cars and last weekend between the two divisions that had 61 cars
