Considering he won the pole for this race, has won in this series, and
wins when he runs down at the World Series of Asphalt at New Smyrna,
probably because he likes to and can contend.

@6 Can't find documentation of that. All the cautions in this race were
minor spins.

CARS has a picture of Pope's #34 upside down on its Facebook page dated
for this race. Could it have been in practice or qualifying?

@8 Indeed. He did a tankslapper in the dogleg.

I assume it was either practice or qualifying. He mentioned something
about 'locked in', so it must have been qualifying.
