I always like Danny O'Quinn. Thought he was a good driver. Wish he could
have stuck around in NASCAR.

Myatt Snider picks up his first win of the season as the CARS tour race
forms one of the six main event races at the inaugural Short Track U.S.
Nationals.

This was a tri-sanctioned race; in addition to the CARS LMS tour, the
ARCA CRA Super Series and the Southern Super Series counted this race as
one of their events.

This whole weekend was a bad idea. A bunch of short track guys with
little experience and little to none of them had spotters.

Bristol is admittedly a rather hard track to do something like this at
but I love the idea. It could grow into like a SCCA Runoffs for oval
track racing.

To Comment #7: Only the street stocks and modifieds weren't required to
have spotters, per the rules of their sanctioning bodies. The CARS Tour
which sanctioned the Super Late and Late Model Stock races require all
cars to have spotters before going on track. I spot for a part time CARS
Super Late Model team.
