This race was run as part of Bristol's 2nd Annual Short Track U.S.
Nationals along with a variety of other races for late model and street
stock cars. This was the first race for the CARS Late Model Stocks at
Bristol, the series was not part of the first annual U.S. Nationals in
2017.

A number of CARS regulars are at Ace Speedway ( scene of the next CARS
late model stock event) for a track special show that will be run tonight.

Actually, the CARS Late Model Stocks were at Bristol Motor Speedway for
the U.S. Short Track Nationals last year. Myatt Snider brought home the
victory that night.
