Craig Moore closes out the 2018 CARS Late Model Stock Tour season with
his first win in the series. Moore capitalized when teammates Timothy
Peters and Brandon Pierce got together under caution of all things to
get out front and stay there, Peters falling from contention after the
incident. Moore was thrilled with the win as his program has a lower
budget that of Deac McCaskill and Lee Pulliam who finished right behind
him.

The series championship came down to the last race as both points leader
Bobby McCarty and perennial short track taken Lee Pulliam came into this
race with a shot at the big trophy. While McCarty finished behind
Pulliam in ninth the position was good enough to clinch his first series
championship.

Timothy Peters and Brandon Pierce wreck under yellow happened as the two
Nelson Motorsports Toyota racers were swerving to warm their tires for
the restart and got together. The unintentional impact cut down the left
rear tire on Peters' #12, which as said all but ended his hopes for the
win, while Pierce lost a few spots on the restart as a result.
