All of the prior #08 West drivers needed written permission to go and run other cars and series. 2. With top-5s in every race so far he is leading the points. The win was an emotional one for the JR Motorsports driver as it was the team's first after the passing of Dale Earnhardt, Jr.'s mother and longtime team employee Brenda Jackson. Berry had a decal honoring her memory and pointed to it in victory lane. The victory capped a wild night for Berry where he apparently hit everything short of the lottery. He was spun on lap 3 and collected in a multi-car wreck where Leland Honeyman launched off him into Brandon Pierce on lap 30. Berry took advantage of having his issues early in the race to rally back for the win. Once he got back through the field to the lead, apparently with a bump and run on Bobby McCarty, he never relinquished it. 3. Taylor Gray came into this race trailing Josh Berry by just four points in the title fight. After a rough night he not only lost 20 points to his rival he lost second in points to Bobby McCarty. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
