Mike Garvey scores his second win in the All Pro series' first six
races, becoming the first driver in the new series' history to win more
than one race.

This was the All Pro series' first race at Greenville-Pickens Speedway.
The classic South Carolina short track would be a staple of the series,
hosting races every year through the tour's termination in 2006.

This race had been postponed twice due to rain.

Junior Niedecken borrowed a car from David Russell to start this race
after losing two engines, dropping him out of the top five in points and
ultimately the championship hunt as he couldn't make repairs quickly
enough to continue running the whole schedule.
